It’s getting to that time of year again … Gift giving time!
This year I wanted to share lots of different ways you can make things for your family and friends, and you won’t be surprised to learn that lots of those involve my favorite DIY of all time (and one that was born this time last year ), Trash to Terracotta! I made these bowl vessels a while ago but realized they would make such a lovely gift, so thought it was fitting to share them now. Read on for how to make them, it’s so simple.
For this project I made one simple style using terracotta paint, which I thought was a nice jewelery holder or planter, and the other I made into a candle. Note that I didn’t paint inside the bowl that I planned to put the wax in.
- Two matching bowls
- Paint in white and terracotta tones
- Baking POWDER
- A paint brush
- Super glue or hot glue
- Candle wicks
- Candle wax and heating implements (microwave or stovetop)
I think it might be a VERY trash to terracotta Christmas.
